Lexington SC posted a comfortable 2–0 victory over San Antonio FC on Saturday, with second-half goals from Blaine Ferri and Braudílio Rodrigues sealing all three points in USL Championship action.

The first half offered little in the way of goals. San Antonio's Emil Cuello picked up a yellow card right before the break, but neither side managed to find the net across a scoreless opening 45 minutes.

That changed quickly after the restart. Ferri broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half, finishing from a Marcus Epps feed to put Lexington ahead. It was the kind of clinical start to a half that shifts the momentum of a match entirely, and San Antonio suddenly had work to do.

The visitors never found an answer. Twenty minutes later, Braudílio Rodrigues doubled the lead, converting off a pass from Xavier Zengue in the 68th minute to effectively put the game to bed. San Antonio struggled to create meaningful chances in response, and Lexington managed the closing stages without much trouble.

Jacob Greene received a late yellow card for Lexington in the 89th minute, but by then the result was long settled. The hosts saw out the remaining minutes with little drama.

The clean-sheet win gives Lexington SC a valuable three points as the season pushes deeper into the summer stretch, building momentum at home in what could prove to be a pivotal run of fixtures.
