Lexington SC and Spokane Zephyr FC played out a goalless draw in the USL Super League on Saturday, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.

The first half was a scrappy affair, defined more by the referee's notebook than by anything in the final third. Lexington's Emina Ekic was the first player cautioned, picking up a yellow card in the 12th minute. Spokane's Ally Cook followed shortly after in the 17th minute, and teammate Felicia Knox was booked in the 32nd minute, leaving the Zephyr needing to tread carefully for the remainder of the match with two players carrying cautions.

Despite that disciplinary pressure, Spokane managed the situation well enough to avoid going down to ten. Neither side, however, could convert that kind of game management into genuine attacking threat. Clear-cut chances were hard to come by, and the two defenses held firm whenever danger arose.

The second half passed without a single card — a sharp contrast to the opening 45 — but also without a goal. Both teams pushed for a winner late on, yet the final ball consistently let them down.

The point apiece does little to shift the momentum for either club in what remains a tightly contested USL Super League season.
