Westchester SC cruised to a dominant 3–0 victory over New York Cosmos in USL League One action on Wednesday night, with goals from Bobby Pierre (7'), Kyle Evans (76'), and Conor McGlynn (83') sealing a comfortable win.

Pierre set the tone early, finishing off a Kyle Evans delivery just seven minutes in to put Westchester ahead before the Cosmos could settle. It was a clinical start from the home side, and the early deficit left New York chasing the game for the remainder of the half. The Cosmos struggled to build any sustained pressure, and Néstor Cabrera's yellow card in the 29th minute reflected their growing frustration.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Westchester controlled possession and kept the Cosmos at arm's length, even after Timofey Timchenko picked up a booking in the 67th minute. Nine minutes later, Evans got his name on the scoresheet himself, converting from a Jonathan Jimenez feed to double the lead. That goal effectively killed the contest.

McGlynn added a third in the 83rd minute, latching onto a Maximus Jennings pass to cap a thorough team performance. Sergio Chavez was booked for the Cosmos two minutes later as tempers briefly flared in a match that had long since slipped away from the visitors.

Evans was arguably the standout performer, contributing a goal and an assist on the night.

The emphatic result strengthens Westchester SC's position in the USL League One table and piles further misery on a Cosmos side that will need to regroup quickly.
