Birmingham Legion FC cruised to a comfortable 3–0 victory over Corpus Christi FC in USL League One action on Tuesday, with goals from Sebastián Saucedo, Romario Williams, and Sebastian Tregarthen sealing all three points.

Legion wasted no time taking control. Saucedo opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and just three minutes later Williams doubled the advantage, finishing off a delivery from Samuel McIllhatton. Two goals inside the opening twelve minutes left Corpus Christi chasing the game almost from kickoff.

The visitors' frustration showed. Pierce Infuso was booked in the 37th minute, followed by Jackson Dietrich six minutes later, and another Corpus Christi yellow arrived just a minute after that. Arthur Medina and Ronald Alexis Cerritos picked up cautions in the second half as well — five bookings in total for a side that never found an answer to Birmingham's early blitz.

The second half settled into a quieter rhythm until Tregarthen put the result beyond any doubt in the 72nd minute, converting from a Kadeem Cole assist to make it 3–0. Tregarthen was later cautioned in the 82nd minute, though by then the match was long decided.

Corpus Christi rarely threatened and will have little to take away from a match that got away from them before they could settle. Birmingham controlled proceedings from start to finish, the early two-goal cushion allowing them to manage the contest on their terms.

The convincing win strengthens Legion's position in the USL League One table and extends what has been a difficult stretch for Corpus Christi FC on the road.
