Chattanooga Red Wolves SC edged One Knoxville SC 1–0 in a tight USL League One Tennessee derby on Saturday, with Joshua Ramos scoring the only goal in the 74th minute.

The first half was a scrappy affair defined more by the referee's notebook than any real cutting edge. One Knoxville's William Perkins picked up the game's first booking in the 19th minute, and teammate Babacar Diene followed him into the book in the 32nd. Chattanooga weren't immune either — Jordan Ayimbila was cautioned in the 36th minute, keeping the foul count high on both sides heading into the break.

The second half began with more of the same edginess. Eric Kinzner became the Red Wolves' second yellow card recipient in the 52nd minute as the contest threatened to boil over without producing a goal.

That changed with 16 minutes remaining. Omar Hernandez picked out Ramos, who made no mistake to put the home side ahead. It was the decisive moment in a match that had offered few clear-cut chances, and Chattanooga managed the final stretch comfortably enough. One Knoxville's Ian Fuller was booked deep in stoppage time as the visitors' frustration spilled over in the dying seconds.

The Red Wolves held firm to claim all three points from the rivalry fixture, a result that strengthens their position in the USL League One table and leaves One Knoxville searching for answers on the road.
