Tampa Bay Rowdies rallied from a goal down to beat Indy Eleven 3–1 on the road in USL Championship action Saturday, scoring three unanswered goals in the final 20 minutes to complete the comeback. Edward Kizza opened the scoring early for the hosts, but Matt Myers, Sebastian Cruz, and Marco Micaletto all struck late to hand the Rowdies all three points.
Indy came out fast. Kizza needed just five minutes to put the home side ahead, and for much of the first half, the Eleven looked comfortable with their lead. The game grew scrappy as it wore on — Charlie Ostrem was cautioned in the 67th minute for the Rowdies, and Indy's Bruno Manuel Rendón had already been booked shortly after halftime.
The turning point arrived in the 73rd minute. Myers latched onto a Russell Cicerone pass to equalize, shifting the momentum squarely in Tampa Bay's favor. He was booked two minutes later, but the damage was already done. Nabilai Kibunguchy also picked up a yellow for Indy on the same minute as the equalizer, a sign of growing frustration from the hosts.
From there, the Rowdies took control. Cruz put them ahead in the 85th minute, finishing off a Marco Micaletto delivery to make it 2–1. Then Micaletto got on the scoresheet himself in the second minute of stoppage time, converting from a Karsen Henderlong assist to seal a 3–1 victory.
The result caps a clinical second-half display from Tampa Bay and leaves Indy Eleven searching for answers after surrendering a lead they held for nearly 70 minutes.
