Las Vegas Lights FC earned a comfortable 0–2 victory at Orange County SC on Saturday night, with Johnny Rodriguez opening the scoring in the 13th minute and Oalex Anderson adding a stoppage-time second to seal the result.

Rodriguez struck early, finishing off a pass from Giorgio Probo to give the visitors the lead before the home side could settle into the match. Orange County spent much of the first half chasing the game but struggled to create clear-cut chances, and the period ended on a sour note as tensions boiled over in stoppage time. Manuel Arteaga and Blake Pope picked up yellow cards for Las Vegas, while Ousmane Sylla was booked for Orange County — all three cautions coming within minutes of each other as the half wound down.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Orange County pressed for an equalizer but lacked the cutting edge to break through, while Las Vegas remained disciplined and content to protect their lead. Probo, who had set up the opener, was cautioned in the 75th minute, but the visitors never looked in serious danger of conceding.

Anderson put the result beyond doubt deep into added time, latching onto a pass from Patrick Leal to make it 2–0. He picked up a yellow card moments later — likely for his celebration — but by that point the three points were already secured.

The win gives Las Vegas Lights FC a valuable three points on the road and could prove significant as the USL Championship regular season enters its final stretch.
